On August 8th, the 9-day Hope Primary School 2025 Beijing Tour Summer Camp came to a successful end. A total of 30 teachers and students from three Hope Primary Schools - Longtan Sino Japanese Friendship Hope Primary School in Xingguo County, Jiangxi Province, Mopan Sino Japanese Friendship Hope Primary School in Dahe Town, Fuyuan County, Yunnan Province, and Jingjing Town Central Primary School in Pingwu County, Sichuan Province, as well as 3 college student volunteers who graduated from Hope Primary School, participated in the summer camp. The children have gained a lot, not only broadening their horizons, but also planting the seeds of dreams in their hearts. The Hope Primary School Beijing Tour Summer Camp, sponsored by the Beijing SMC Education Foundation, has been successfully held for 10 sessions since 2013, with a total of 268 students and 60 teachers participating.

Expanding horizons, acquiring new knowledge, forging dreams, and becoming a better version of oneself - these are the expectations of Beijing Journey Summer Camp for Hope Elementary School children. The campers of this summer camp successively visited the Confucian Temple, the holy land of Confucius, and the Imperial Academy to experience the influence of traditional culture; Visited and deeply experienced autonomous driving technology in Beijing Yizhuang High level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone; Go to the Beijing Meteorological Observation Center to conduct meteorological research, the China Science and Technology Museum, and explore the mysteries of science; Climbing the Badaling Great Wall, challenging the heroic spirit of overcoming difficulties, participating in interactive dragon dance, and having fun; Visit famous attractions such as the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven, and visit the Capital Museum and the Olympic Museum to gain a deeper understanding of Beijing's history, culture, and modern development. In addition, exploring the central axis from the front gate fence and strolling to Tiananmen Square through the city walk activity also allowed campers to experience the unique urban charm of Beijing.

A special mini program check-in task has been set up in the social activities between Beijing Zoo, Aquarium, company employees and their children. During the visit, children played and learned while completing fun tasks, unlocking animal knowledge questions and answers, and other interactive activities, creating a lively atmosphere that revitalized traditional parent-child activities.

The instructor team composed of veterans of the "Honor Guard Brigade of the Chinese People's Liberation Army" also became a highlight of this event. They let the campers deeply learn about the national flag culture, decipher the real life and daily training of the national flag class. The solemn flag raising ceremony and standard formation movements made the campers feel the sanctity of the national flag and the charm of soldiers, inspiring their patriotic enthusiasm.

It is worth mentioning that three children from Huya Township, Pingwu County, Sichuan Province, who have already been admitted to university, volunteered to participate in this summer camp activity. Ten years ago, they also participated in a summer camp. This time, they fulfilled the vow they made 10 years ago: "When we grow up, we must help those who need help more." Through the section "With a shining heart, there must be a distant place - I hope that college students who graduate from primary school can share their personal growth experiences", they exchanged their own experiences with children from Hope Primary School, encouraging younger students to have dreams, study hard, and grow up healthy.

During the 9-day summer camp learning activity, the children went from being unfamiliar to familiar, from being shy and shy to being outgoing and confident, and gained knowledge and friendship. I hope that through the summer camp activities in Beijing, children can plant the seeds of their dreams and see a broader world through hard work.
